An insightful, if somewhat raw, quote from Eastern Airlines’ boss Eddie Rickenbacker. Clearly a design connoisseur, the irascible WW1 ace made the comment in 1958, on being shown proposed seat covers for Eastern Airlines’ new Lockheed Electra fleet.
